Lightwire has updated the way we plan for events and respond to incidents on our network. This work forms part of our push to streamline functions, enhance end user visibility/communication, and automate processes generally.
We have detailed the key features of the new system in the video below, but the high level objective was to be able to select affected clients using a range of criteria, and inform both them and our team, in a number of ways (Slack, Twitter, status page, email, etc.)
As usual, we have further updates planned (SMS alerts for example) but in the interim we wanted to keep you all informed of our most recent set of system enhancements.
